Reports
In the Report Settings tab, there are three main areas:

Choose Report Area
The Choose
Report area is broken down into three filters:

Filter |
Description |

Category |
Allows the user to choose from seven categories: Learner Profile, Grades, Milestones. |
|
Report |
Allows the user to choose from up to twelve types of reports. The type of report will depend on the Category selected. |
|
User(s) |
By default, students can only view their own reports. |
Configure Report Area
The Configure
Report area is broken down into three filters:

Description |

Starting |
Allows the user to choose the start date of the report. You can do this from the pull-down menu or the calendar icon next to it. |
|
Ending |
Allows the user to choose the ending date of the report. You can do this from the pull-down menu or the calendar icon next to it. |
|
Select Report View |
Choose from three views: Chart, Drill Down, or Table. |
Command Toolbar
The Command
Toolbar allows you a number of data processing options:

Run |
After you choose and configure the type of report that you want to generate, click the Run command. |

Print Preview |
An Adobe Acrobat PDF preview of the report is launched. |

Send Report |
Attaches the report to course mail. Report is saved in PDF format. |

Export |
Allows you to save a copy of the report save a copy in one of the following formats: HTML,CSV, PDF. |

Save |
Save report to the Saved Reports Tab. |
Running the Learner Profile Report
Learner Profile provides an analysis of your activity, submissions, and grades. Your learner profile also includes a place to store personal notes about the course.
Choose Report: Learner Profile
Category
Begin by making sure that Learner Profile is
selected under the category drop down menu:

Choose Report: Report Drop Down
Menu
Select the report data you wish to display from the Report pull
down list.
The following options are available:

Report Data |
Description |

Activity Logs |
Provides access to a student‘s activity in a course. Activity can include login/logout information and content item accessed if tracking is turned on for the item. |

Attendance |
Provides attendance status. |
|
Chat Sessions |
Provides information on the total number of chat sessions for the user and the date of the chat. |
|
Forum Posts |
Provides the name of the discussion forum and the number of posts made to the forum. |
|
Gradebook Grades |
Provides information on the individual student grades as well as the course average for each grade book assignment. |
|
Logons |
Provides the dates and total number of logons to the course. |
|
Mail from User |
Provides the dates and total number of messages sent by the user. |
|
Mail to User |
Provides the dates and total number of messages sent to the user. |
|
Milestones |
Provides the dates of the milestone and indicates if the milestone is pending, due or completed. |
|
Performance against objectives |
Provides data showing progress of a class or student against the
stated objective. |
|
Performance against standards |
Provides data showing progress of a class or student against the
stated standard. |
|
Submissions |
Provides dates and total number of submissions. |
In this example, we will choose Gradebook Grades:

From the User(s) section, by default, students can only view their own reports.
Under, Select report view, we will choose Table.
Click the Run button to run the report:

The report will then be generated beneath the Report Settings tab:

Begin by making sure that Grades is selected under the Category drop down menu:
Under the Report category, Student Grades is the only option.
From the User(s) section, by default, students can only view their own reports.
Under, Select report view, by default, students can only view the Page Link option.
Click the Run button to run the report:

The report will then be generated beneath the Report Settings tab:
